Dassian delivers differentiated solutions and support for several different Government Contractors spanning a variety of Industries.  Our client base in this market segment includes Federal and/or Government Divisions of companies that are in the several project centric industries.  These clients represent leaders from Industries that include:  High Technology, Professional Service Providers, Aerospace and Defense (Military Supplier), Engineering, Construction and Operations as well as Life Sciences companies who all receive and manage Federal and/or State/Local Government contracts.

Clients in this segment are primarily faced with challenges which are associated with performing customer project/contract work in an often highly regulated environment.  Such regulations target major business systems with specific requirements for Cost Estimating, Cost/Project Accounting. Earned Value based Program Management, Government Property Management, Purchasing as well as Material Management and associated Accounting systems.  These business requirements manifest themselves into regulations and guidelines as well as data deliverables that Government contractors must comply with where the primary natural source of such information transacts and resides within their ERP system. 

The entire Dassian solution portfolio (10 applications) are all relevant to support this market segment characterized by business system requirements driven by statute and/or regulation.   Our solution portfolio, while integrated, is organized and described by 4 major business solution pillars – all of which extend and industrialize the SAP ERP digital core platform.

  1. A robust Contracts/Billing Management solution to flexibly achieve complex invoicing with automated management and transparency of supplier flowdowns of prime contract clauses.

Several Managerial Accounting extensions to manage unique requirements associated with Full-time Labor Accounting; detailed transparency and active management of complex Indirect Rates and associated base/pools of unique expenses, flexible and risk adjusted/variable considerations percentage of completion based revenue accounting processes as well as capability to provide detailed belly button and element of expense controls to prevent erroneous charges per charge number.

  3. A fully integrated and intuitive Earned Value based Program Management solution.  This solution includes capability to manage both recurring manufacturing as well as non-recurring design/development type projects.  Said solutions provide for seamless integration to the SAP ERP Platform with popular non-SAP based Network Scheduling tools – to truly provide an INTEGRATED (and not interfaced) Program Management System.

  4. The Material Accounting & Logistics Pillar includes a seamless extension to the SAP ERP system property management solution driven by natural ERP system transactions to ensure that all customer provided property is properly identified, tracked, and managed/controlled in accordance with contractual specific bailments of such property.  This pillar also includes a robust Material Accounting reporting and analytics capability to provide detailed historical parts costing of any level of the Bill of Material as well as unique capabilities to monitor and track dynamic changes to project/contract manufacturing costs due to MRP driven schedule changes and resulting cost shifts due to MRP soft pegging and other changes.
